There are many ways to find dropshipping products on AliExpress. Think about scrolling through AliExpress for hours, using AliExpress product discovery tools, asking AliExpress suppliers, and going through "Rabbit holes" while doing product research! These methods will help you find winning, trending, and hot products.
How Does AliExpress Dropshipping Work?
I will try to explain this really simple for you, but if you already know this, then you can click here to scroll down to the first tip on finding products on AliExpress!
First, you will create your own online store.
After that, you will go to AliExpress to find products that you want to sell in your store. (You can use the tips that I will cover in this article!)
When you have found a few products that you want to sell, then you import these products to your store with a dropshipping app like DSers.
I suggest having between 5-20 products in your store before opening your dropshipping store. (Source)
Then it’s time to make your product page look awesome (this is the page where people can purchase the product that you just imported from AliExpress).
For example:
Alright, now you have an online store and a few products from AliExpress.
Of course, don’t forget to give some attention to the design of your dropshipping store. You don’t want to look like a scam site, right? (You can use my Shopify checklist here)
Now you will start advertising one of these products with something like Facebook Ads or an Instagram Influencer.
See, for example, this Facebook Ad:
If someone visits your store now and purchase one of your products, then you will go to your dropshipping app and place the order.
The dropshipping app (for example, DSers) will go to AliExpress, add all the products from that order into your cart, fill in all the details from your customer, and after that, you press on pay!
Now everything that’s left, after product costs, advertisement costs, and any other costs, is yours! Profits!

Below you will find my 5 tips to find a lot (with a lot I mean A LOT) of dropshipping products on AliExpress!
But first, if you're wondering what a "winning" dropshipping product is, then I suggest reading this article by me here.
In that article, I will cover all the factors that a winning product has.
1. Finding products on AliExpress yourself
I’ll start by giving you a few tips to discover awesome products on AliExpress yourself without the help of any tool!
This way, you will find products on AliExpress that you never expected to find in the first place. Or maybe you never expected to exist in the first place!
1. AliExpress recommendations for you
The first method is going to be an easy and quick one to find a few products on AliExpress.
For example, you found the product that I made a screenshot of below; then you will see at the right top corner a “Recommend for you” list.
These are products that AliExpress recommends you after viewing this product.
2. Best selling
The next one that you can look at is the best selling tab.
If you scroll down a bit on the AliExpress product page, then you will find this on the left side:
You will find around 5 best selling products there from that AliExpress seller.
3. Seller recommendations & more to love
Next up is scrolling all the way down!
There you will find the recommendations from the AliExpress seller:
And below that you will find “More to love”:
These are all products that are a bit related to the product that you’re currently viewing.
You might be thinking “Boring”.
Well, don’t worry! You can combine all these AliExpress product research methods for the next product research method below, called the Rabbit Hole tactic!
2. Using the Rabbit Hole tactic
Yes, this is exactly what it sounds like.
If you combine all these methods above, then you can do the “Rabbit Hole” product research method on AliExpress.
The goal with the Rabbit Hole method will be to click through these products and find products that you never expected to find!
Because if you click on one of these products, then you’re likely going to see other recommendations! And so on, and so on; until you find a product that looks interesting to you.

3. Using AliExpress product discovery tools
Finding products on AliExpress could be hard and time consuming for some people.
That’s why there are AliExpress product discovery tools on the market!
The best thing about these tools? There are free tools available that will help you find products fast and easy. Plus, you will get so much inspiration from these tools.
For example, AliExpress offers a free product research tool called the AliExpress Dropshipping Center.
This tool is specifically made for dropshippers who want some extra free tools to find awesome and trending products on AliExpress.
Just signup for the program (it’s free), and you will get all their tools, even if you’re not dropshipping (yet).
You can find this product discovery tool inside your AliExpress account after activating it!

4. Using the method from Mordechai (CEO of Ecomhunt)
This one is a small one, but it's a funny one haha.
Mordechai (CEO of Ecomhunt) tells in an interview with Oberlo that he scrolls for hours on AliExpress until the algorithm is messed up, and then it will show him products that he never searched before.
I personally never tried scrolling through AliExpress for hours in a row, but if you're interested in learning more about this unusual product research method on AliExpress, then I suggest watching his interview with Oberlo below.
He will start talking about this method around the 04:30 minute mark, and he mentions another part of his AliExpress product research method around the 07:00 minute mark:

5. Asking AliExpress dropshipping suppliers
This is another awesome method to find amazing dropshipping products!
With this method, you find AliExpress dropshipping suppliers and ask them what products are going to be trending or what products are new or will be launching soon!
What you need to do is find the best AliExpress dropshipping suppliers first.
Preferably these AliExpress sellers that are selling these trending dropshipping products (or if you’re in a specific niche, then of course suppliers in that niche).

- AliExpress Dropshipping Center - Sponsored Products. The dropshipping center had a tool to find AliExpress suppliers at first, but now they updated the dropshipping center, and they removed that tool.
However, you can still find some great AliExpress suppliers if you go through their sponsored products section!
After you have found a bunch of these AliExpress suppliers, it’s time to reach out to them.
Ask them for a list of their new products that they are about to release into the market. Their new trending products! Or you can ask them for a list with their current trending products (or both).
That’s how you can find these untapped products that are not sold by many dropshippers yet!
