That’s a great question; the owners of Miracle Sofa and Bohemians Mart may have listed their businesses at Flippa for various reasons. (Here’s a great list of reasons)

It could be that they want to pursue other business opportunities, or they just need extra capital – whatever the reason is, selling a successful business via Flippa is one way to do it. Ultimately, it’s up to the individual business owner to decide what’s best for them in terms of selling or keeping their business!

Dropshipping can be a great way to get started in ecommerce, but it certainly isn’t without its challenges. The fact is that with dropshipping businesses, a lot of the control over the product quality and shipping times resides with the supplier. That makes it difficult to guarantee customer satisfaction at times. (We go more in-depth about this in this article here)

However, by doing your due diligence beforehand and partnering with reputable suppliers, you can minimize the chances of getting bad reviews. It’s also important to be proactive about resolving customer issues in order to maintain a positive reputation and keep customers satisfied! (Here’s an article going over how to choose the best dropshipping supplier)

For the companies mentioned in this article, I can’t comment on what exactly they are doing to keep their customers happy – but after updating this article a few times with new examples, the ones with bad reviews usually go down one way or another (if they don’t improve anything).

One example of a dropshipping store mentioned in this article at first is Shopolis; check out their Trustpilot profile here. (A lot of negative reviews)

I’m a bit confused after reading the details of some of the dropshipping businesses mentioned above in the list ( Miracle Sofa, Bohemians Mart). They have a lot of traffic in their websites and earn much more money then why do they list their business at Flippa?

Why do they have the intention to sell out the running dropshipping business? So they have become a market leader and also have many customers and social media followers? Then what is the need to sell out the running dropshipping business?

Thank you for your comment! That’s a great point; the main reason Wayfair is not on this list is that this list mainly contains Shopify stores, and Wayfair doesn’t use Shopify as far as I know.

However, since what you said sounds like a great way to show that dropshipping isn’t only used by small Shopify stores (I mean, small in comparison to stores like Wayfair), we plan on creating a new article where we will cover bigger ecommerce stores that use dropshipping or have used dropshipping in the past (for example, Gymshark started with dropshipping).
