How To Add & Import Products From AliExpress To Shopify? (2024)

This subject might be easy for some people, but some people struggle with it and don't understand it at all.

That's why I decided to create this article that's focused on teaching you how to import your AliExpress products to your Shopify store and how to fulfill the orders that you're getting. I will even teach you what an AliExpress dispute is and how it works!

1) Pick your "AliExpress connection" app

Dropshipping with AliExpress is much easier to do if you've got a "connection" app.

If you compare having an app like that to manually filling in all the information yourself, you will have a clear winner!

Indeed, having an app like DSers will save you a lot of time.

However, I will use DSers for this article because their free plan is free for unlimited orders, and most people use this app when they start with Shopify dropshipping.

2) How to import AliExpress products to your Shopify store

I will split this up in a few stages for you.

So you will understand it easily!

You will first need to do product research, then after you have found some products, it's time to learn how to find the best AliExpress suppliers for these products.

After you know which AliExpress suppliers are the best for the products you want to sell, it's time to import them to your dropshipping store.

2.1) How to find AliExpress products to sell in your store

First off, you will need to do product research.

2.2) How to find the best AliExpress suppliers for the products that you want to sell

Now that you've done your product research and you know a few products that you want to start selling on your Shopify dropshipping store, it's time to learn how to find the best AliExpress dropshipping suppliers.

2.3) So, how do you add AliExpress products to your Shopify store?

After you have found products that you want to sell and you learned how to find the best AliExpress suppliers, it's time to import the products to your dropshipping store.

You can follow me below step-by-step on how to import the products from AliExpress with DSers.

Don't forget that you don't need to use DSers for this. There are plenty of alternatives for DSers.

But, as I said above, most people know DSers and importing AliExpress products kind of works the same on all these tools, but otherwise, they've got great explanations on their FAQ page for sure!

Step 1) Install the DSers Chrome Extension

The first step is going to be installing the DSers Chrome extension.

This extension will make it a lot easier to import products from AliExpress to your dropshipping store.

Step 2) Import your AliExpress products

For example, let's say I want to sell this moon lamp:

After that, click the orange DSers button at the AliExpress product that you want to import to your dropshipping store.

Step 3) Edit your product page to be unique

One of the reasons most people fail with dropshipping is because they don't put any effort into their dropshipping store design and their product pages.

Please take some time and create an awesome product page for your product!

As you can see in the screenshot below, there are so many people interested in Dropshipping at this moment.

If you put more effort into your dropshipping store, you will have so much more chance of beating your competition later on.

Step 4) Decide what price you're going to sell the product

Now it's time to decide what the price is going to be of the product that you want to sell on your dropshipping store.

3) What to do after you receive an order on your Shopify store? How do you easily process them?

I will quickly show you the process below on what happens when you get an order on your AliExpress dropshipping store and how to process it then with DSers.

1. You get an order on your Shopify dropshipping store.
2. You're super excited!
3. After that, you go to the DSers app to place the order.
4. Go to Open Order – Awaiting order. The order you need to place to AliExpress will be in the Awaiting order tab.
5. After that, press the 'Order' button.
6. It will open a page where you can double-check the order shipping setting. At this step, you can change the shipping method as you wish.
7. If you're sure about the shipping method, press 'Confirm'.
8. Let's go to the awaiting payment tab now to find the order that you just placed and see that the Ali Order Number has been generated.
9. You can click the 'Make payment' button, and it will take you to AliExpress where you can pay for the order. (And yes, you can pay for multiple orders at once)

I've got one extra tip for you.

You can let DSers fill in the note for the supplier automatically when checking out!

This way you will let the AliExpress seller know that you're dropshipping and that you don't want to have any advertisements or recipes in the package (this is called blind dropshipping).

4) How to cancel your dropshipping order on AliExpress

Now that you know how to place an AliExpress dropshipping order, it's time to learn how to cancel an AliExpress order.

This can come into place for a lot of reasons. Like, people that don't want the order anymore, or people that ordered the wrong size or products.

All you need to do is go to the AliExpress order page and press cancel on the order that you want to cancel.

Keep in mind that you can only do this before the order status is changed to shipped.

If the order is shipped, you need to contact the supplier to see if there are any possibilities left (maybe you're lucky and he hadn't shipped it yet).

After the order is canceled on AliExpress, DSers will automatically update the order again.

5) What are AliExpress disputes and when can you use them?

This is important to know because there is a chance that you will have problems with one or more AliExpress suppliers.

If you can't figure it out anymore with them, you can open a dispute on AliExpress.

Most products have a 60-day (or less) buyer protection.

You can see that under the buy now button.

For example, I opened a lot of disputes after my supplier kept telling me that the products were on their normal way, even though it had taken more than two months already.

That's why I decided to open AliExpress disputes on these orders.

Results? AliExpress was on my side on all my disputes, and I had my money back in no-time.

If you want to open a dispute on AliExpress as well, press the 'Open Dispute' button on your AliExpress order (All orders on your AliExpress account).
